How to Order

Pre-Order the Flowers You Actually Need

Finding the right flowers shouldn't depend on what's available that day.

At Heyday Blossom, we believe florists should be able to order the varieties and colours they actually need. That's why we operate on a simple pre-order model, giving florists and flower businesses greater choice, consistency and confidence when planning ahead.

Unlike a traditional wholesale flower market, where stock depends on daily availability, our flowers are sourced specifically for your order.

Whether you're planning everyday retail, weddings, events or future seasonal demand, our pre-order service makes ordering simple and predictable.

Who We Supply

Heyday Blossom supplies premium imported fresh flowers exclusively to florists and flower businesses throughout Australia.

Our service is designed for professionals within the floral industry who are looking for a reliable way to source premium flowers through a simple pre-order model.

Our Ordering Process

Step 1 – Explore Our Flower Range

Browse our Flower Range to discover the premium flowers we currently offer.

Our range is organised into four product groups:

  • Colombian Roses

  • Colombian Sim Carnations

  • Chrysanthemums

  • Lisianthus

Each product page showcases the available varieties, colours and product information, making it easy to plan your order.

Step 2 – Select Your Preferred Varieties

Once you've explored our Flower Range, choose the varieties and colours that best suit your business.

If you'd like current pricing, simply contact our team. As pricing can change over time, we provide the latest pricing directly upon request.

Step 3 – Customise Your Florist Box

Orders are customised to your requirements, provided they fill one complete florist-sized box within a single product group.

Example

Rose Box

✔ Freedom Roses

✔ Mondial Roses

✔ White Roses

✔ Pink Roses

All within the same Rose box.

Not Possible

✖ Roses and Carnations in the same box.

This ordering method allows us to efficiently source and pack your flowers while giving you the flexibility to order exactly what you need.

Weekly Order Cut-Off

Tuesday – 12:00 pm AEST (Midday)

Orders received after this time will be included in the following week's ordering cycle.

Step 5 – We Source & Deliver Your Flowers

Once your order has been confirmed, we arrange the flower delivery two weeks later according to the varieties and colours you've selected.

Rather than selecting from warehouse stock, your flowers are sourced specifically for your order, providing greater confidence when planning ahead.

Delivery to your business is typically scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the inspection time allocated by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and the outcome of the required biosecurity inspections. Once your flowers have been released, they are carefully checked before being dispatched to your florist business.

Delivery options include:

  • Local deliveries by our own team.

  • Deliveries from Northern New South Wales to the Sunshine Coast via Leader Freight.

  • North Queensland deliveries via Centurion Freight or Virgin.

  • Collection or your preferred courier, where suitable.

Why Pre-Order Your Flowers?

Traditional wholesale buying means choosing from whatever happens to be available on the day.

Heyday Blossom gives you the opportunity to plan ahead.

With Heyday Blossom you can:

✔ Pre-order the flowers you actually need.

✔ Choose your preferred varieties and colours.

✔ Plan weddings, events and seasonal work with greater confidence.

✔ Access consistent year-round supply.

✔ Secure standard pre-order pricing during peak periods, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

✔ Order from as little as one florist-sized box.

Caring for Your Flowers

Why We Ship Our Flowers Dry

Unlike many traditional wholesale flower suppliers, Heyday Blossom ships flowers dry rather than in water.

Dry shipping helps protect the flowers during transport, reduces the risk of damage and allows them to travel more efficiently. As part of this process, the flowers are intentionally shipped dry and should be rehydrated by your team upon arrival.

When your flowers arrive:

  1. Recut the stems using clean floral secateurs.

  2. Place the flowers into clean water as soon as possible.

  3. Allow sufficient time for the flowers to fully rehydrate before arranging or selling them.

Roses

For the best results, leave the protective cardboard sleeve on overnight while the roses rehydrate.

The cardboard sleeve provides important support while the stems absorb water, helping the roses straighten naturally and maintain excellent presentation quality.

Remove the cardboard sleeve the following day, once the flowers have fully rehydrated.
